Rishi is a Microsoft Data Platform Most Valuable Professional (MVP), being formally recognised by Microsoft for his community contributions, in addition to being a Fast Track Recognised Solution Architect (FTRSA) and Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT). He is a Chartered Accountant (ACA) with a background in Financial Modelling and Consulting in Financial Services, having worked at Deloitte, HSBC, Barclays and KPMG prior to his current role as a Group Manager at Altius/Avanade. Rishi is also a co-founder of Learn Data Insights (www.learndatainsights.com).
Chris Barber
Chris Barber is a Chartered Accountant (ACMA, CGMA) turned Microsoft MVP and consultant.
Chris regularly speaks at the London Business Analytics Group and is particularly interested in the application of the Power Platform to solving challenges within Finance.
Mark Wilcock
Mark is a trainer in data analysis and visualisation. He runs a small consultancy, Zomalex Limited. Zomalex build reports and dashboards using Power BI. Clients include firms from many sectors; banking, local government, health, public transport, charities and higher education. Mark has received Microsoft’s Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award for the last four years. He has a MA in Natural Sciences from Cambridge and an MBA from Imperial College, London. He is the organiser of London Business Analytics Group, a very popular community meetup group.
Francisco Gutierrez
A data lover with experience in Finance and as a Power BI contractor. Currently he's in charge of the administration and deployment of Power BI in Entain giving support to multiple teams across the world.
Mutala Baba
Mutala is a Chartered Accountant (ACCA) with Teim Accountants and a certified Microsoft Power BI professional. He specialised in using Power BI to give insights into an organisation performance and financial reporting for critical decision making.
Fernando Calero
Fernando is a data analytics enthusiast with experience in Business Process assessment and alignment with the strategy to improve performance and help achieve the Company’s goals and objectives, and in Controlling in the Automotive Manufacturing Industry where he spent more than 8 years in transnational companies like Robert Bosch in Mexico. Currently as an independent consultant he is applying his experience to help medium and small companies get insights from their data and take actions to better achieve their goals. Passionate about Business Intelligence and business process automation. Eager learner.
Triparna Ray
Triparna Ray is a BI Architect and MS Power BI consultant at IBM offering vast experience leveraging Microsoft Analytics and agile methodologies to deliver highly effective and creative solutions to business and technology challenges. Successfully delivered end to end BI solutions for clients across domains and geographies with special focus on Financial Reporting.
Alan Thomas
Alan works to upgrade the value that financial institution data can yield and has found Microsoft BI technology to be an especially effective addition to his toolkit. A CFA Charterholder and technology enthusiast, he has acted as a bridge between the domains of finance and data in Brazil, the USA and Canada and has experience in efficiency optimization, liquidity management, and supervisory regulation. He is now a senior employee in the Treasury department of Wyth Financial.
Mira Abel
Mira Abel is a results oriented experienced Certified Public Accountant (US CPA) with 17 years professional experience across a broad range of accounting roles in Oil and Gas Upstream at the UK North Sea. Recently upskilled to using Power BI and Power Query to leverage big data from various sources quickly. Very strong in SAP ERP, SAP BW, Sun Systems and Q&A and advanced Excel skills. Well known in her circles for delivering high quality reliable reporting models that have been used for many years by others.
