Who this course is for

This 8-hour course is aimed at experienced Excel users who have been using Power BI for at least 6-12 months and want an overview of how to work with financial (accounting) data in Power BI.

This will be a hands-on tutorial-style session.  Attendees will need the  latest version of Power BI Desktop installed on the machine they are joining from.

Syllabus

  • Connecting to Data (folder containing CSVs on OneDrive/Teams) and importing into Power BI

  • Creating base measures for e.g. Revenue, Gross/Net Margin and financial ratios.

  • Creating Dynamic Measures for MTD/QTD/YTD Period selection

  • Building an Income Statement using the Matrix visual

  • Adding KPI cards, Waterfall Charts and other visuals for storytelling

Prices and Dates

£495 for all 4 sessions (each 2 hours) to be run on Mon-Thurs during each week in August (alternating AM/PM timeslots)
